Medical Services Plan (MSP)

MSP is the provincial insurance program that pays for required medical services and testing.

Access to these Cardiology services requires a referral from a physician or nurse practitioner and active MSP coverage

Excluded Services 

Some medical services are not covered by MSP including examinations or tests required for:

  • Employment

  • Life insurance

  • Driving or Pilot Licensure

 

These services will have associated costs or fees which are dictated by the BC Medical Association and updated yearly

Private Insurance

For patients travelling to Canada or without active MSP coverage, you will need to pay the associated costs directly and then submit for reimbursement from your insurance company or MSP once coverage is confirmed.
